"i RUFU-ed!"

NPSD! TOGETHER, WE WIN!

Hope everyone enjoyed SD RUFUrun 2009!

Here are some of the pictures!

Even though we didn't received the physical prize, i'm sure everyone would agree our spirit and the friendships forged through this race and even the memories created during the plannings and trainings are priceless.

Thanks for everyone's effort! Due to the H1N1 pandemic, many of the member-based activities had to be cancelled. Despite that and all your busy schedules, (tons of projects and CCA commitments) you were there physically or in prayer, and made a difference to this.

The RUFU marble. (Souvenir)

This marble carried with it the following piece of guidance from our mentor, SGI President, Daisaku Ikeda.

"Life is like a marathon, even if you should fall a bit behind others during the race, there is no need to be impatient, as long as you win in the end. The person who breaks the tape in the finishing line is the true victor."

Please take good care of yourselves!

How's everyone doing?

Hope those with common test coming up next week have completed their assignments and started revision!! Time management and prioritizing our activities are important.

With the RUFU run scheduled on this Sunday, 8am to 12pm, all the more we should aim to excel in the common test. Let's not let our kosen-rufu efforts be a hinderance but rather, be a consistent accumulation of wisdom and good fortune in our lives. We must win!!

Some updates on the race. NPSD is gathering two proper teams this Sunday. We will be going through the route and cheers once we gather. Your individual roles will be briefed to you all again. We are sincerely praying that we are able to gather 50 NPSD members to participate in this event so that we are able to form up two teams. Therefore, we would really appreciate that for these two days, we are able to encourage more non-active members and new friends to come and join us. Those who have been coming for the past trainings, I extend my warmest thanks to you all! THANK YOU!!!

This period of time is a challenge for us to strive to cope with the Rufu-run as well as our common tests. We must show the other institutions that despite this challenge, we are able to become an outstanding institution for the event! Therefore, we urge all of you to revise for your tests before and of course after the event.

Things to take note:
- water bottle
- wear NPSD t-shirt

Meeting Times:
- Chua Chu Kang > 6.30am
- Woodlands > 6.45am
- Toa Payoh > 7.30am
PLS BE PUNCTUAL!!

Note: Helpers and medics to be at the town park by 7.30am.

If we win, lets win it proudly. If we were to lose the race, lets lose it with dignity and honor.
We do not strive to be number 1 but we are aiming to win the prize for UNITY. This is our goal in mind =)

Everyone, Pls drink more water and take good care of your health. For those who are not feeling well, pls inform your CICs or IICs that you are unable to make it for the event.
Lets rest well and chant for the success of the event!! Lets JIAYOU together and we shall see each other on Sunday!!!
